The latest piece is equally interesting.I do the same with my work.Cut, scratch out, re-purpose, paint over top etc.I just did this yesterday to a painting that was just not me and I have a new one started with a painting over top of an old piece, again that I didn't take to.
Thanks Sheri. One of my teachers, years ago, said never throw any of your art out (I do) rip/cut/sand it up, paint over it whatever...I'm looking at some landscapes I've done. They look so...empty. I'm thinking of adding figures. Radical.

This is an interesting piece, I like this a lot.I love the color with the black outlining of the figure over top.
