I often wonder if architects get an "excuse me while I kiss the sky day" at architecture school. These days, I think not. It's astounding looking at the tips of tall buildings how some have "sky presence", graceful, elegant, poetic, lyrical + how some, ew-ee uglee. Like the laundry room or basement sump pump meets the sky. This one, one of my faves. Reminds me of the Vancouver City Hall building...city of my youth.
