John Hughes  So young!  He directed one of my personal all time fave movies....Ferris Beuller's Day Off.

Yeah, I gotta say, I'm pretty upset up about it. I was a tween and a teen when his characters were, and his movies---the 1980's ones, I mean, like Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Ferris Beuller's Day Off---really meant a lot to me.
