okay...launching a new effort today...

 ...wherein I'm going to try + be organized + efficient.  Anything that I feel is sales-worthy -- not too big, not too heavy, not too internet beguiling (some things look better online than in the flesh, so to speak) I'll post in the Edith store rather than, eg. over at the Daily Painter's site, so everything will be neat + tidy + underneath one roof so I can keep tabs on it, etc.  There will be a PayPal option underneath the things for sale...+hopefully it will all work out splendidly.   I'm not sure if I've gotten all the wrinkles out.  If there are problems, e-mail me.    I'm going to be adding to the store as I go through my work + figure what's around, what's gone, what's been painted over, etc.  So how exciting!  The Edith store.  Now, that's catchy.  Oh, + you'll find it on the navigation bar, at the very end.

Afghan Star

 An excellent documentary about the power of music  in contemporary Afghanistan.  It may be that it is this Afghan cousin of "American Idol" that spreads democracy + hope across Afghanistan to defeat the Taliban.
