Such a contrast with the watercolor versions. So vigorous and intense. It works, because hyacinths are lovely, but also so strong: you just can't kill them -- they only 'die' when they're good and ready, and even then they can grow and bloom again with the next blooming season.
(Are you keeping the bulbs? I never do, but apparently they are easy to re-pot, and grow themselves.)
